Powerpuff Fancy Dress

home coffee liqueur cream leeks with ham and parmesan cheese

A different way to eat vegetables is to make cream and accompany it with a few shavings of ham and freshly grated Parmesan cheese. It is a cream that can be consumed hot or cold. I hope you like it.

Ingredients for 4 people:

2 large bunches of fresh leeks 4 medium potatoes

5 cheeses The Hamlet
150 gr. Iberian ham shoulder of
150 g parmesan cheese (Italy-Parma-Reggiano Parmagiano)
60 gr.
butter 40 ml. of extra virgin olive oil Salt and black pepper
1.5 liters of water

begin cleaning the leeks, remove a layer of foil and cut the stem before the start of green leaves, washed and cut into slices. Peel potatoes, wash and cut into small pieces, the important thing is the way cut the potatoes, I am with the last part of the court "broken" with the objective of the starch out there that help to thicken the cream.

In a saucepan put the butter, when melted add the leek and potatoes, let him spinning, stirring after 3 minutes add the oil and pour a little salt, let them be done over very slowly, stirring constantly.

When we see that the leek elagua cast becomes transparent, we have to be all covered with water, cover the pan and let it be done over low heat about the 3rd minutes.

After this time we add the cheeses and stir with a wooden spoon until the cheeses have melted completely. Check the salt and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and pass through the grinder or blender.

Cut the ham into small strips or chips, grate the Parmesan and set aside.

Place cream in bottom of dish, top ham chips and freshly ground black pepper. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese to taste.

Notes:

- The amount of leeks is optional, it depends on how big they are the stems of leeks, likewise if you want it lighter add less potatoes.
- You can change the ham strips of fried bacon if desired.
-grated cheese from La Mancha can use a perfectly dry.
"If you cook the leeks and potatoes in a pot or pan without lid add 250 ml. more water because they do not have cover we will quickly evaporate.
"It's a dish that can be prepared in advance and refrigerate. Very refreshing in summer.

Very nice meal.
